Cultural Engagement
Since the Volkshaus Basel was taken over by a private ownership in 2011, numerous cultural event formats have been financially supported by Volkshaus Basel.
Support is provided according to the following criteria:
- It is a public event with cultural content.
- It is an event of local importance (city of Basel or Kleinbasel).
- The event is not (exclusively) profit-making
- The Volkshaus Basel offers the ideal setting for the event to be held successfully.
