The Bar at Volkshaus Basel is the lively link between the local neighbourhood and our house. It is a hotel lobby, coffee house, bistro and local bar in one: a meeting place where our guests can meet in a good atmosphere and enjoy signature dishes and classic cocktails – from early in the morning until late in the evening.

Hand-laid mosaic floors, mouth-blown lamps and walls full of modern art characterise the room and make the bar an architectural gem, which incidentally has found an imitator in New York with the bar in the renowned Public Hotel.
