Cultural Engagement

Since the Volkshaus Basel was taken over by a private ownership in 2011, numerous cultural event formats have been financially supported by Volkshaus Basel. Support is provided according to the following criteria:

– It is a public event with cultural content.

– It is an event of local importance (city of Basel or Kleinbasel).

– the event is not (exclusively) profit-making

– The Volkshaus Basel offers the ideal setting for the event to be held successfully.
